I like the solution. Although I would try to build the front cut-off flap myself and not spend that much $$$ Regards Raimund Am 31.01.2019 um 16:01 schrieb ddbjorkman@verizon.net: > Take a look at the link. This system puts a new door over the air intake behind the front grille and has you install a new hole in the airbox with a flapper valve. To recirculate, one closes the door on the air intake and turns on the airbox fan, which sucks air from under the dash and blows it out the vents. This is from what I can see. I was wondering what others thought, or even better, if someone had installed the change. For $185.00 plus shipping, I would like to know if I can get cooler air on my face and stop that pesky airbox leakage beforehand. > Dave B. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Dan N <dn92610@GMAIL.COM> > To: vanagon <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> > Sent: Wed, Jan 30, 2019 1:10 pm > Subject: Re: Air recirculator > > I don't have air recirculatory setup but I have a question for you... > > > do you mean the fresh air (as it now) is coming from under the dash and NOT > thru the vent openings on the dash? > > > if so then the flexible air ducts under the dash are broken or disconnected > and they are not bringing the fresh air to the vents opening anymore.
