it's due to normal wear and tear from metal to metal contact friction.
Yes ...if the grooveI is too deep it will affect the door alignment and you
have to adjust the difference by raising the door a bit, not a lot. I use
Delrin roller, it's quieter for sure but it doesn't compensate for the deep
groove.
