Subject:No spark, good coil, etc

This is a 1984 Digijet.
Yup, I can’t get spark from the coil. There is 11.8V going to the coil.  I see, there are two black wires going to the coil.  One has 11.8V the other has nothing, I guess that should not have either.  
I did check the coil for Ohm and they are correct.  Changed the coil for an other one, still no spark.
New cap and rotor.
Battery is strong.
Am I missing something?
Anyone?
