Thanks, Eric. They were patterned after the pre-war badge. Except there is one less cog. The odd number of cogs made it look weird because we are using them at the 9, 12, 3, and 6 o’clock positions. Those particular cogs are extended to become the supports which go on the tines of your Westy grill.
