Honestly I would not say the Pierburg is worth the extra money. We sell if for those who are partial to it, but having sold both for years I have never found it to be any more or less reliable than the Bosch. (We have the Bosch for $119 - http://www.busdepot.com/gfp301 ) The Pierburg has a rubberized coating which some say makes it quieter, but frankly making sure your mounts are in good shape ($2.95 each) will accomplish the same thing for less money. We also sell a European made aftermarket pump as well, for $84 with your list discount - http://www.busdepot.com/043906091 - and it's proven reliable, but the price difference isn't huge and since you say price isn't critical I'd stick with the Bosch which is still the gold standard. I would be skeptical of anything cheaper than the $89 one, though, they all seem to be off-brand Chinese made and the QC is all over the place. Ron Salmon The Bus Depot, Inc. www.busdepot.com
