Subject:Re: Bosch Group 41 Battery under $100

Thanks again Jack. I just checked again online and the discounted price
still stands, about $98.

This battery fits well in the Vanagon battery box since it has no handle
mounts on the ends like many 41 batteries do. I loop a nylon strap under
it to help lower and raise it, leaving the strap in place at all times.

The first 3 year free replacement and 8 year warranty is hard to beat.

I have a dual battery shore power charger which has kept my prior batteries alive for over 10 years. Felt it was time to change out, as preventative. When batteries start to die, it is hard on the alternator. And with a dual system, probably a good idea for less than $200.
