My good friend Simon has 91 Syncro with a high top we put on . Also has 2.5 Subie engine. He has dongle on that ecu and connects to iPhone. He’s not as much of a tech diddler as I like to be so he doesn’t use the wireless link as I would. I’d have a dedicated old iPad mini on all the time and the virtual guages etc. The one little kink is that the update frequency is not as fast as you’d like. But it’s workable .

But no joy for us with old engines and engine management systems
