I bought some of his higher wattage rear light bulbs (brake, blinker) a few years back.  Transaction went smoothly.  Super duper performance.  Unfortunately, those bulbs burnt out pretty quick, like 2 years.  So I went back to stock.  That guy sure has a lot of innovative ideas, that is for sure.  Super creative, and ability to turn problems into solutions.  Pretty solid for the most part.  I like the guy, and his efforts for the Vanagon community.  It was before my time probably when his comments were deemed too volatile.

He has changed the focus of his business to repairing Electrolux vacuum cleaners. It might not be as far of a reach as you think. Electrolux is the same company as Dometic. They make the refrigerator in Westies, as well as other camper equipment. Anyway, Terry Kay is a little too volatile to be in polite company.
