None of us got pulled over...I think the law authorities have really cleaned up their act since the 60's and 70's, tourism is really important to them.  There are however, several military checkpoints you pass through; they ask a few questions (like where are you coming from and where are you going) and we tried our best to give answers....lots of bewildered shoulder shrugging most of the time.  Every so often they will want to open the back hatch or the slider and look around a little and check out what is in your ice chest; these guys are there for your protection mostly.  I'm glad they are there, it all works out pretty well for everybody.

 Nice pics, Rich!

How many times did you get pulled over? I grew up in SD and in High School
we used to drive down to Ensenada and have beers and lunch over looking the
ocean at a place called Hotel La Fonda. We'd keep our cash in our socks
with just five or six bucks in our wallets, so when we were
inevitably pulled over, we could ask, "Is there any way we could pay our
fine now?" and let them clean out our wallets.

Good times...
