I am absolutely with you on the traditional hello and good-by beeps. The hello creates anticipation and excitement. The good-by thanks hosts and friends for the good time. beep beepDave B. -----Original Message----- From: Eric Caron <ericcaron96@COMCAST.NET> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Sent: Wed, Mar 25, 2020 1:35 pm Subject: Re: horn OK, You guys beat me to this topic. I wanted to ask the group both, have they found a nice loud horn, but also, is there a way for me to keep my stock horn and power it with a button from my passenger seat? You see, Heidi is very conservative with the horn. As we approach a vW gathering or depart friends she almost never sends out the fun beep beep. Yet, she is good about hitting the horn in traffic situations, however, the beep at that time isn’t very helpful. So, how about a loud horn for her and the happy traditional beep for me? Ideas welcome, Maybe it is good that I don’t have my van now during lock down in VT. I could be doing way too many fun things! The horn comes from Just Kampers in England. I'm not sure if there is any branding on it besides that. > > Ron Salmon > The Bus Depot > www.BusDepot.com
