Yes,

Looking forward to the Erin update,

OK I have to share,

Every few years at the West River Westies gathering someone tells me a sliding door story.

My favorite one is about a vanagon that needed a push start. For whatever reason once the van got started the person stepped on the gas and the sliding door, part way open with someone pushing went flying back and broke loose and apparently went tumbling down the road. Not a good day!

I’m always sad to hear about a van getting hurt but the image still makes me laugh!

Man I hope that never happens to me.

Now. I hope I didn’t jinx myself!

And, I’m not perfect, I’ve been saved more then once by good luck not to drive off with my pop top not firmly lashed. Having that flip up on the highway would bring me to tears.

It’s only held on by the one metal clamp on the bottom door handle side now. My mechanic is closed but he said I could still buy parts from them this week if I need. I’d like to fix this on my own anyway. So I’m going to do some research. Does anyone have any suggestions?
