Well, I actually once drove off with the pop top up. Didn’t take very far to figure out there was something not right, and no harm done. Pulled over and put it away:) Ted\ Theodore Hoekman thoekman@gmail.com 19 York St. Newbury, ON N0L 1Z0 (519)719-0342 Blog:http://Tedspassivesolarhouse.wordpress.com > On Apr 4, 2020, at 2:25 PM, Eric Caron <ericcaron96@COMCAST.NET> wrote: > > Yes, > > Looking forward to the Erin update, > > > OK I have to share, > > > Every few years at the West River Westies gathering someone tells me a sliding door story. > > My favorite one is about a vanagon that needed a push start. For whatever reason once the van got started the person stepped on the gas and the sliding door, part way open with someone pushing went flying back and broke loose and apparently went tumbling down the road. I have an ‘85 vanagon. Last night I got home and went to open the sliding door and it fell off! It’s only held on by the one metal clamp on the bottom door handle side now. My mechanic is closed but he said I could still buy parts from them this week if I need. I’d like to fix this on my own anyway. So I’m going to do some research. Does anyone have any suggestions? >>> Thanks everyone. Hope you’re all holding up ok >>> Erin
