I have a distinct memory -back in the early to mid 80’s - of stopping at a red light within sight of la basilique Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré while driving a Lada only to watch my passenger-side front wheel continue on through the intersection and, eventually, into a snowbank. To my surprise, the vehicle remained level, making me question for a second whether it was really my wheel en-route to the ski hill. After retrieving the wheel and placing it in the rear of the Lada, I was able to nurse it along for two blocks to a garage. > On 13-Apr-2020, at 21:01, Dan N <dn92610@GMAIL.COM> wrote: > > I had a Lada Niva in Europe... around 1978.... it's was built on a Fiat > platform... not very reliable... > this one may be better as time goes by.... > > On Mon, Apr 13, 2020 at 4:09 PM Jim.
