The Chinese heater page is “public”. Anyone with the link should be able to view that without having a FB account.

The “private” groups, require a FB account and for you to be a member of the group. It’s set up as such to keep spammers from seeing who is in the group and/or harvesting information from group members. All the groups I manage are private. Most of those set are Vanagon groups.
