I thought I’d re start the subject with new heading, mostly so I can keep track of any suggestions.

Late yesterday afternoon I did quick addition of 4 awg wire from alt body to the little grounding stud on front wall of compartment.

I was rushing , had to get to work, so I can’t say really what diff it made. Was really haphazard approach.

I hope to have a couple of hours today to assess all the grounding spots in the compartment. And if I feel enthusiastic, crawl under and see if I can do anything with the starter to battery cable, connection at starter.
