Subject:Re: Stereo question (Friday nvc)

Oops that question was a holdover from earlier but it's still Friday ...

Lack of comfort and road handling.  Rides 'heavy' and it is a fairly heavy car. Handling is ok, just clunky on bumpy roads.  Steering could be tighter I guess.

It's only got 120k km (75k miles) but maybe it's time for shocks, springs?

Thanks
Jeff

hi Jeff,
"It’s starting to drive like a tank"

as in engine performance? lack of power, running rough?
or as in lack of comfort and road handling?

Another Friday question (and I'm cc'ing Eric because even my own messages end up in my Junk mailbox!)

I'm looking for a new stereo.  I am having a hard time with the visibility of my current unit, and was wondering if there was one of those new fangled units with a slide out screen that might be appropriate.  I've read though that sometimes the angle is poor for visibility, so i was wondering if anyone could personally recommend a model?

Thanks
Jeff

Hi everyone. Hope you don’t mind the off topic Friday post.

07 new beetle convertible. My wife bought it in 2011 and it has 110k km now. It’s starting to drive like a tank. I didn’t really notice until we got a loaner 19 Golf from the dealer while the rockers are being replaced under warranty. What would make it drive like new again? Shocks? Springs? Both? Any recommendations?

Thanks
Jeff
