Have you checked the intake boot for any tears that open up while you floor it? This torques the engine and opens up the terror for air to get in. If you're talking about the air flow metre, I've done a little bit of a write-up on the samba on how to fix some parts, but if you want to rebuild the items, you can't find the circuit board or the temp sensor to replace them. If it's an air-cooled van please check out fb.com/groups/aircooledvanagon and the file resources. And also find out who is local for you! Also I don't mind helping troubleshoot so over a Facebook call now and then for air-cooled Vanagons. Steve On Fri., May 8, 2020, 7:12 p.m. Randy C, <rcicoryell@msn.com> wrote: > Hey all.
