Ok, thanks. My plan is to move the van laterally about 8-10’ into the shop half of the garage. Two of my tires sustained damage, so I’m looking at a new set of 5 anyway (since it’s a Syncro). I’m also hoping to move up to 16” wheels from my original 14”. Seems to be doing ok although I should have measured the size of the garage rather than eyeballing. It's smaller than I thought. I thought I could rotate 360 but that won't happen. After moving I took the van off the dollies again as I don't want to hurt the tires. So not quite as I had imagined. Once I start the project for real (LOL) I might change over to some old wheels. As I have now 14 alu wheels on ( with 195/14 Hankook) I have to find the studs for the steelies again. Are the dollies worth it? Maybe. Stuart's suggestion is certainly less expensive.https://www.harborfreight.com/1500-lbs-capacity-vehicle-dollies-2-pc-60343.html > > Karl. > >> On Sun, May 17, 2020 at 2:00 PM Stephen Engel <sengel543@yahoo.com> wrote: >> I’ve been thinking of doing something similar so I can free up the garage bay where the van usually parks while I undertake some long term projects. >> >> I was wondering how the wheel dollies have been working?
