I don't think plumber putty will work because it will dry out and get hard. Another option is taking the part to the plumbing section of a hardware store and look for o-ring or flat o-ring that fit.... I am sure that you will find an o-ring that fit... similar to these https://www.homedepot.com/s/flat%2520o%2520ring?NCNI-5 https://www.amazon.com/Beveled-Faucet-Washers-Screws-Assortment/dp/B074PZDTQL/ref=sr_1_40?_encoding=UTF8&c=ts&dchild=1&keywords=Faucet+O-Rings&qid=1594225224&sr=8-40&ts_id=3226856011 https://www.amazon.com/Rubber-Washers-Connector-Replacement-Faucets/dp/B07LH4BD5Y/ref=sr_1_51?_encoding=UTF8&c=ts&dchild=1&keywords=Faucet+O-Rings&qid=1594225247&sr=8-51&ts_id=3226856011 On Wed, Jul 8, 2020 at 9:07 AM David Boan <dboan@outlook.com> wrote: > VW came back and said the part is discontinued and not available.
