Hi rob,

        I’m sharing your excitement!

As Scott is not here to say it I’ll say, get out your lubricants and treat all moving parts. Many will have been neglected for years.
E even the slider may quiet down, and need less force to close.

One tip. On the slider clean everything and get rid of all old grease and the dirt it has collected then lightly lubricate with a thin light oil like a spray lubricant. Then clean the lower track often. This really helps.

If still loud and grumbling it will need new bearings.

But, I think our man Scot would say lubricate 250 or more places and inspect and clean.

Plus, it is fun to crawl all over and under a new van!

Best,

Eric Caron
