VW makes very few of their parts. They are probably subbed and then branded by VW. But this isn't a bad thing, the brake shoes should be manufactured to VW's standards. Maybe these are overstock they are unloading? My question is that rockauto has four listings for the 1987 Vanagon campmobile: two (primary and secondary) for each of the right and left wheels. Did/does Volkswagen really sell their brake shoes by the individual shoe? In any case, I need new brake shoes. Any recommendations? I'd also like to buy LED dash lights. I've bought some from VanCafe in the past and they fit and work fine, but they don't seem to last very long. And they are expensive to ship to Canada. If anyone has an alternative source for those, I'd love to hear it. Thanks, Rick ----- No virus found in this message.
