Hi, I got those too, a few vinyl bag sets, long and short. Bags long gone and keys now in a tray in a drawer with other brands acquired over time. One tray imperial, one metric. Just a jumble. Then there are the Allen branded sets, imperial in same drawer, metric in van. Then there are the socket set ones... then there are the bonhus ball end T handled ones ( great for spinning out the fasteners ) So plenty of hex keys gathered over the years. No need for the fancy German ones. But the temptation was too great. My next desire is a pair of those Knipex pliers. I have a pair of knipex cobras, but I’m jonesing for the ones that really act more like an adjustable wrench. You look for entertainment where you can find it :-) Alistair > On Oct 17, 2020, at 11:57 AM, Mark Belanger <mbelanger@gmail.com> wrote: > > > Nice find, Alistair. > > I still have a 30-year old jumbled set of Craftsman that came in a cheesy vinyl bag. Amazingly, the bag is still sound, but I positively hate having to go through them to find the right one. > > > -MB > >> On Sat, Oct 17, 2020 at 10:27 AM Alistair Bell <albell@shaw.ca> wrote: >> Hi, >> >> I bet most of you have the same big collection of hex keys as I do. Really great when you have to reach in a tight spot to get the fastener into position. >> And they come in a superbe holder. Rotating one of the hex keys rotates them all out ninety degrees for really easy access.
