On my Westy I installed a 1/2” aluminum extrusion over the sliding door and one over the galley area, the full length. Then mounted LED strips inside the channel so as not to get any glare from the lights. Very indirect. I then fished a 12v circuit down to the rear ashtray where I mounted a dimmer switch inside the never to be used again ashtray. This setup is convenient and the light can be made to be very subtle. > On Oct 19, 2020, at 10:17 PM, Mark McCulley <markmcculley@GMAIL.COM> wrote: > > Interesting, my '87 Westy has only the light under the shelf, no overhead > or over the sink lighting.
