Hi Thomas,  I haven't seen your postings before, so welcome to the list.

I use K&N filters, and have not noticed anything better or worse about them
than others, but maybe I haven't thought much about it.  They have been
recommended here by persons who are acknowledged as being more
knowledgeable than others, which is why I've used them.  Sometimes GoWesty
has a "deal" on them.  I also drive on dusty roads, and clean the filter
occasionally.
