Just recently got my Vanagon back after 12 months at a repair shop.I drove it at night for the first time yesterday and the headlamps do not work.Anyone got any ideas how to troubleshoot this?
I don't know if they were working when the van was taken in since the van had been sitting unused for 6 years.
The sidelights work and the rear lights and turn signals all work.The headlamps don't work on high or low beam, however when I operate the lever to switch to high beam they flash on momentarily then immediately go out.
Most of the work done on the van was mechanical but they did fill the power steering so they would have messed withthe dash to fill the reservoir.

Have some other questions as well but don't want to burden the list just before Christmas.
