Adding only, more is not better.  I tried a 4 inch topper – falling in was sublime, but rolling over was like trying to climb out of a hole with nothing to hang on to.

How are memory foam mattress toppers?  I’m planning a 3-week vacation in Colorado and will sleep upstairs. I currently use self-inflating camping pads, but wonder what has your experience been with memory foam?  Sweaty?  Squishy?  Sublime?
