I'm thinking of taking my '84 Westy to Foreign Autohaus in Santa
Monica/Marina Del Rey.  I want to get an inspection, since it sat idle
for a year.  And maybe do some work that I deferred due to budget when I
was at Buslab 18 months ago.

Has anyone been to Foreign Autohaus?  Would you recommend them?

I stopped by there once, saw a few people inside the shop, but none of
them showed any interest in talking to me.  I didn't get the best
impression.  Maybe I was wrong.  Can anyone tell me about them?

Or other good shops in the L.A. area or over in the valley?  I'd gladly
go some distance for a highly-recommended shop.
