Subject:Re: Electrical gremlin dash brake light

Eric, my suspicion is that something is putting a weak voltage onto the
red/black starter circuit 50 in the dash area.

One common place this can happen is under the driver seat where the
fridge relay and sometimes aux battery relay lives.

Have someone look there and find the thin red/black wire. Make sure it
isn't shorting to something. If it looks ok but is still plugged into a
relay, unplug it to see if that affects the brake warning light issue.

If the issue is still there with the red/black wire unhooked, use a volt
meter to see what if any voltage that wire has compared to body ground,
while unhooked and key on.
