I have been interested in these Diesel fuel heater devices for quite some time. Cheap. Dry heat. But they use a LOT of electricity to initially fire up, and also to shut down to prevent clogging issues. The "tik-tok" noise of fuel pump is also an issue. And extremely important, or so I have been told, even a teaspoon of Diesel fuel spilled inside Vanagon is awful. I was working (conceptually only) on a Passenger Side plywood window rig to solve the spilled fuel and the "tik-tok" noise issues; keep these problems outdoors. I never took it any further. Probably won't. Mr Buddy heater in my dry climate winter conditions (San Diego) is just fine for me.
