Subject:Re: Leaky windshield washer fluid reservoir

This is pretty cool!  I bought my '85 Tintop in 1989.  I have NEVER checked windshield washer fluid level or functionality of pump and nozzles.  Is that crazy or what?  Shoot, living in San Diego explains a lot of that.  Yep, will do.  It's always fun to look around anyway.  Always something that needs to be addressed, and I am crazy about preventive maintenance.

Drops right down after you remove the three m6 ( 10 mm head size) bolts on the tabs on the tank.

There is enough wire to drop the tank so you can disconnect the pump.

Filler pipe stays in van, it just slips out of the grommeted hole on top of tank.

Pump to tank grommet may be the leak. But you seem to imply the leak is big.

Wasnt there someone making a skid plate to protect the tank, and hold the tank up if your tabs are broken?
