I added a piece of one inch thick hard insulation foam under the cushion. It was quick and easy but of course you lose a tiny bit of vertical space. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• *GIL NGAI* • *I TELL GOOD STORIES* *cinematographer • **chief storyteller • instructor* * www.dayonemedia.ca <http://www.dayone-media.com/> * On Fri, Jul 2, 2021 at 5:06 PM Dan N <dn92610@gmail.com> wrote: > I put FatMat insulation on top of the lid and surrounding engine bay area > and I also put a layer of Reflectix under the felt pad... > > https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/album_page.php?pic_id=1934099 > > https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/album_page.php?pic_id=1934100 > > > > On Fri, Jul 2, 2021 at 3:10 PM Steven Shelton <shelton4@gmail.com> wrote: > > > It took a good while to get the old stuff off and most of it was already > > cut out to raise the lid!
