Folks:
I'm forwarding a request for someone to spend some time completing a
vanagon conversion to subaru power. These folks live down in Salem, Oregon.
Please reply directly to me. I've also sent the request out to the most
likely candidate, subaruvanagon@groups.io

Here's a quote describing their dilemma.

We are in the middle of a conversion, Subaru 2.2 to a 1981 Westie. Lane has
done the front plumbing, changing from a air cooled to water. Since then we
have moved 3 times. He was getting ready to start work on it again when he
was hit with cancer, then kidney failure and now AB Parkenson's. There is
no way he can finish the build. I have asked everyone we know if they could
possibly do the work without any luck. Now I am asking this group if there
is anyone out there who would be willing to help us . We live in Salem
Oregon 97302. All the parts and tools are sitting in the garage waiting...
Lane is now 77 and I am also in my 70's but we would still like to get out
in the woods and do a little camping before his health gets worst. Life
isn't over yet. Thanks for reading this. Lane and Nancy

Thanks everyone.
Best,
Brent
