Hi Chris, I have used Sea foam in gas for fuel injection cleaning. I’m guessing you are talking about something else like a oil conditioning product. They might make lots of things. I only know the fuel version. Boy I hate initial start up of engine that’s been out of van and fooled with. Yup, more than a couple of lifters had bled down. Makes you think you’ve done something radically wrong. > > > > I’ll get some pics of the things I’ve done posted to the blog in a bit. But one thing unexpected was finding a separating spring perch and broken lower bump stop on drivers side. Maybe the spring shifting was causing that mystery clunk I’ve been hearing once in a while? > > I’ll find out as I’ve made new spring perches. > > > > See here on blog > > https://shufti.blog/2021/08/08/vanagon-new-rear-spring-perches/ <https://shufti.blog/2021/08/08/vanagon-new-rear-spring-perches/> > > > > Alistair
