This would indicate that Somehow 1 of those 2 Spades on the Coil + Post is Not making
connection to the Coil ~ Not quite sure how that can happen but I would be inclined to do a
Continuity Test from each of those Spades to the Post they are supposed to be nutted onto &
also from Spade to Spade ~
Or possibly 1 of the Spades is not Straight Up & Down / Parallel to the Other so that when
1 makes a connection the other 1 can’t ~ So if the Green Wire that provides pulse from the ECU
to the Coil is connected then it will start but the Green Wire, which goes to Tach does not get that ~
pulse ~ Actually vaguely recall having seen this some time in the past ~
Also,, If the Spades are Straight & Parallel to 1 another then look inside the White Connecter
to see if 1 of the Female QuickConnects is out of proper position ~ Sorry about thinking so slow on
My feet & in Bits&Pieces on this,, got a bunch going on ~Have something to add on this topic today? Revive this thread in the forum »
