The cable has already been replaced.  Problem still there.  Needle shakes, not bouncing.

The clicking is the cable is broken.  Change it. Check the book and see how
it is done.  Takes time.  Not much gray matter.

My speedometer needle is bouncing around and I have a clicking noise.  I
lubed it up with a non-petroleum lubricant by dripping it onto the speedo
cable and reinserting it and driveing a bit a few times.  I thought it
worked, but the problem soon reared ir's ugly head and came back.I seem to
remember someone doing speedometer repair.  My eyes are no good for that
kind of job so I'm looking for someone to do it.Any thoughts on this one.
