Gil and others,

        So, I decided to plug in the van to charge the Aux battery.  It should have been high from recent drives and no use.  But, after about 20 minutes or so the pump worked reliably. 

 I didn’t check the volt meter until after it was plugged in.  14 plus volt when plugged in 13 volt when unplugged and sink pump working normally. 

So, must start to stop working as voltage drops.

This seems strange to me. 

I’m thinking I have a ground or other connection to try to clean up.
