Mighty Nicely Done Mr Bell,,, Only additional custom bit I might request would be that the EndCaps extend all the way to the WheelWells & then possibly Turn 90º inward to provide a solid MudFlap Mount ~ > On 12 Aug , 2022, at 9:45 AM, Alistair Bell <albell@SHAW.CA> wrote: > > Thanks Adam, but I just tried as much as I could, to copy the stock steel bumper. I did same , but added some blocks ( look like rubber bumpers but they are aluminum) to spread the bolt load. The bumper is 1/4” aluminum with some gussets spaced along, so it’s pretty solid mount. But I’d like a stronger attachment to the mounts. I might have to add something behind there. > > But then again, it’s not meant to be a bruiser of a bumper. As is, it’s pretty stiff and goid for stepping on to get to roof rack, whatever. > > Cheers > > Alistair > >> On Aug 12, 2022, at 8:29 AM, Adam Grove <roverini@gmail.com> wrote: >> >> >> What a great looking bumper. Lots of details to fix in the next one, I’ll admit to being a little sloppy on matching weld lines on the endcap to the main part, but overall I think it works. >>> https://shufti.blog/2022/08/11/vanagon-rear-bumper-done/ >>> >>> Alistair
