Since I'm replacing almost all of my coolant hoses I also want to replace the coolant distribution tower. The one I have is plastic and at least 20 years old. I have a plastic replacement that I've had in my parts stash for years but now wondering if I should just get one of the aluminum or stainless steel replacements that are available. Both are similarly priced, is one better than the other? Any reports of failures with these metal parts?
