Having just completed this project I will just say that I found it to be a very physical endeavor for my 66yo body. You'll need to get under the van for some hoses, I never seemed to have every tool at hand, so I was getting up and down frequently. I started thinking of it as my cross training workout every day. Some hoses are pretty hard to get to, e.g. the ones on the oil cooler. It was very satisfying once the job was complete though! Be sure to pressure test your radiator cap, overpressure could be contributing to failing hoses. Good luck! -Mark > On Nov 6, 2022, at 6:16 AM, Eric Caron <ericcaron96@COMCAST.NET> wrote: > > Recently Mark described changing out coolant lines. > > My stock set up 84 blew lines from reservoir to H pipe I’m replacing those. > > But, this makes me really wonder if the van is telling me the coolant lines are tired. > > Is the stock set up in a 84 something I could change out on my own? > > Usually if I have parts that match up I can put things back together. > > But, are there tricky parts I need to be aware of? > > Also what is a affordable kit for a 84 stock set up?
