Our good friend David Bierl once suggested this tip.  You know...move the left seat to right, and right seat to left, as a way to encourage longevity of upholstery.  I did this, about 15 years ago.  Excellent!  In any event, it's a great opportunity to thoroughly clean all the greasy gunk on seat tracks, lubricate again and do the switcharoo.
