Based on what ORR is noting - I think a leak from the dipstick tube would be more drip like and not a fine mist. There is an O ring for the bottom of the tube where it enters the block and you can likely also seal the area with some high heat gasket material if you don't want to pull things apart. https://gowesty.com/products/o-ring-oil-dipstick-tube Bruce On Mon, Apr 3, 2023 at 7:45 AM Eric Caron <ericcaron96@comcast.net> wrote: > Bottom, Where it attaches to the block. > > Eric > > > On Apr 3, 2023, at 10:43 AM, Bruce Todd <beeceetee@gmail.com> wrote: > > Hi Eric, > > Is the oil coming from the top of the dipstick tube or from the bottom of > the tube where the tube and dipstick enter the block? > > Bruce > > On Mon, Apr 3, 2023 at 7:06 AM Eric Caron <ericcaron96@comcast.net> wrote: > >> Hi folks, >> >> My 85 2.3 seems to be spraying a very fine bit of oil.
