In advance I apologize for this overly broad topic...

I plan to have a tintop vanagon to be painted. Before going out and
visiting some body shops I would like to have some price range to expect.
I'd think a so-so or a moderate paint job result will be OK for my van, I
don't want an expensive showroom result.

- Price of a so-so paint job
- Price of a moderate paint job

Could you please share your experience (if you have any) even hearsays are
OK too.
