Hi Jeff,

My 84 came with these wheels and tires. My 85 has the 17 set up from Dennis.

The GW16 inch wheels seem fine. I questioned the tire ratings but they seem to be working well. The van handles fine even on the Highway. Road noise is quiet.

So, though I would feel better with a stronger tire I can’t really complain about the set up.

The tires are basically new so they are at their best.

So, I give the set up a thumbs up but would have liked a stronger tire. Still no complaints on handling or sound.

They sell them with Michelin Defenders but don’t specify which model. Anyone have any feedback on the Defenders or any others? I am looking for good highway mileage primarily.
