Mark,

The vanagon list was at least once used as an example of what technical
or hobby mailing lists should be ... people supporting one another, not
a social network of rumors, conspiracy theories and lies.  The vanagon
list has held true to those values all these years.  The main issue is
that both the cars, and us, are turning into antiques.

The list has as much value as ever to those of us that remain.
