You have the reverse light wire (supplying 12V to the reverse light ciruit)
on terminal 1 on the coil instead of terminal 15. Terminal 1 has a wire that 
runs to the distributor - its usually green but this depends on where you buy yo
your points.  Switch it and you will acheive mechanical nirvana
