I have this sneaking suspician that I'm about due to do something about my wheel bearings. In the back of my mind is this idea that the wheel bearings on my '81 westy are sort of a "closed system," that is that they are supposed to be replaced with new units rather than repacked with grease. Can anyone confirm this? Also, how long should the fix last? The cost? martha rubin <nrubin@s1.csuhayward.edu> +ticky+tacky+ticky+tacky+ticky+tacky+ticky+tacky+ticky+tacky+ticky+tacky+ t t t t t t t t t t t t t i a i a i a i a i a i a i c c c c c c c c c c c c c k k k k k k k k k k k k k y y y y y y y y y y y y y +tacky+ticky+tacky+ticky+tacky+ticky+tacky+ticky+tacky+ticky+tacky+ticky+ t t t t t t t t t t t t t a i a i a i a i a i a i a c c c c c c c c c c c c c k k k k k k k k k k k k k y y y y y y y y y y y y y +ticky+tacky+ticky+tacky+ticky+tacky+ticky+tacky+ticky+tacky+ticky+tacky+ (Joel: is THIS .sig any better?!? :)
