The 71 uses different clutch parts. DEf a diff t'out bearing. Maybe the other parts, too. Differnt cross shaft. HAs that alignment thing that bolts to tranny bellhousing. I'm sure your other responses willbe better but I tried... tedelman@aol.com (7/70) 71 blue Kombi with 70 tranny (leftovers)
