As of this morning's fill-up, the Gerbil got 25.17 mpg (US). It's a '66 camper conversion (Sun-something), with a 1971 single-port engine. Usual mileage varies significantly with average driving speed -- 55 mph -> 21- mpg, 45 mph ->23+ mpg. YMMV. Dworkin
