Chris, I've been using VW jacks for 33 years and never had a failure.
Owned three Vanagons, rotate my tires by hand every 5000 miles, no
problem. My wife drives 80 miles x six days a week so you know I get my
exercise!!
No comment on OEM domestic jacks.
