Felix, Lots of places carry hatch cylinders that work - even J.C.Whitney. The last I got from The Bus Depot (www.busdepot.com) are a bit stronger than stock, fit perfectly and work well. Ron at Bus Depot is one of the aftermarket dealers that supports "the list" and has good prices and service. Tom Austin, TX '87, '91, '97 ---------- From: Vanagon mailing list on behalf of Felix Bello is there a place other than the dealer where i can find a new pair of the hydraulic cylinders that keep the rear hatch open ? what type would you recommend; original or aftermarket ? yes, i'm saving to buy a bentley manual. thanks for your help. felix '91 carat kensington, MD
